Experience Fort McAllister as it comes alive by candlelight. Guided by lantern glow, you'll tour the historic grounds and witness dramatic demonstrations of musket and cannon firings, blacksmithing, and the harsh realities of 19th-century medical practices. Explore eerie earthwork bunkers, peek into the soldiers' barracks, and visit the quarters of the Fort's commanding officer. This beloved tradition-first held in 1979-returns as our premier theatrical event. Tours depart every 20 minutes for an evening filled with history, mystery, and unforgettable sights.

- Fall Pumpkin Patch - 9 am-12 pm
Join the 26th year of this Richmond Hill tradition of fall fun and games. Pumpkins, mums, fall home décor will be for sale - plus delicious desserts! All proceeds benefit local charities in Richmond Hill and a scholarship for a graduating High School student. Presented by the Richmond Hill Garden Club.

October 4, 2025- Fall Festival at the Clinic - 2-4 pm
Visit one of the historic sites that Henry Ford built and you'll see orange! Join the fun of a pumpkin decorating contest, corn pit, and watch Hocus Pocus on the jumbo screen - the 90s supernatural family comedy featuring a trio of witches. Vendors and food/drinks will be onsite.

October 11, 2025- Guided Pumpkin Painting - 2-3 pm
Make your reservation at Fort McAllister for pumpkin painting in the park. Guests will be painting smaller pumpkins to take home and display. All supplies, including pumpkins, are provided. Admission $6; Parking $5. Call: 912-727-2339

October 25, 2025- Fall Festival at Spirit of Peace Lutheran - 10 am-2 pm
Join the community in full Halloween spirit for the 2nd annual Spirit of Peach Lutheran Church's Fall Festival. Visit with local crafters whose works are for purchase, and enjoy food truck selections, face painting, sand art, live music, games and more!
